  • Climate models use coordinated ‘SSP-RCP’ scenarios that are developed for the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Assessment Reports. In the report, and aligned with Better Buildings Partnership (BBP) recommendations, Kintera will adopt the most conservative view, SSP5-RCP8.5. While this is the most extreme scenario modelled, users should examine it critically, given the uncertainties inherent in climate modelling.
