The traditional consulting model was: “I’m the expert, I’ll come in and deliver for you.”
At Kintera, we take a different approach.

It’s not about creating dependency.
It’s about co-creation.

We refer to this as “sitting on the client’s side of the desk”. We embed our skills within the client’s team, transferring knowledge and building capability as we go.

So when we step away, the sustainability transformation isn’t just delivered, it sticks.

Hi, I’m Joanna Whitear.

I’m a straight-talking Northerner with a practical approach to sustainability.

Once a Building Surveyor, now a consultant helping real estate leaders future-proof their portfolios against climate risk.

Why the switch? Back in 2010, DTZ launched a ‘green’ team, and I saw an opportunity to do work that mattered. Since then, I’ve built expertise across areas including carbon reporting, extreme-weather resilience, and net-zero strategies. Always with a focus on adding real commercial value.

At Kintera, I help building surveyors with sustainability transformation.

My focus is on building relationships and trust, bringing perspective and experience into the heart of our business.

I spend time getting to know your work and what makes you tick. I believe that makes Kintera more relevant than others, because we truly understand and become genuinely invested in how your business works.
