On Request

We deliver Climate Resilience Assessments for commercial buildings, taking a holistic view of design, condition, and operational systems.

The assessments quantify exposure to extreme weather events and identify specific vulnerabilities that could impact structural integrity, safety, and continuity of use. Using advanced climate modelling combined with site-specific data and inspection insights, we map physical risks directly to EU Taxonomy requirements and provide severity ratings for each climate peril.

The reports outline the potential impacts of these risks, provide prioritised adaptation measures, and actionable recommendations to strengthen resilience. All findings will be presented in a clear, decision-ready format to support compliance with IFRS S2/TCFD and inform long-term asset management strategies.

  • Option 2: This assessment provides risk ratings considering the likelihood of the climate hazards and the severity of the consequences. Generic recommendations will be made where relevant. The report will be provided within ten working days (with a red flag note of key risks on Day 5)

  • Any amendments, expansions, interpretations and recommendations will be charged accordingly. This includes (but is not limited to): decarbonisation pathway, EU Taxonomy alignment, Fund ESG Strategy screening. We also do not provide alternative RCP pathways or outcome years under this service.

  • Our climate risk reports are not a guarantee of any specific outcome or future performance; nor are they statements of fact or predictions of the future. Climate risk ratings have a particular element of uncertainty (i.e., even under a low risk rating, an extreme event may occur that is not projected by the modelling results), and Kintera cannot be held accountable for any losses or liability that may result from following our advice. Neither the report nor any other statements or representations by Kintera Limited should be construed by the named Client or any third party as legal and/or financial advice. Further, Kintera Limited cannot be held responsible for reliance on the contents of this report by any third parties other than the named Client

  • Climate models use coordinated ‘SSP-RCP’ scenarios that are developed for the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Assessment Reports. In the report, and aligned with BBP recommendations, Kintera will adopt the most conservative view, SSP5-RCP8.5. While this is the most extreme scenario modelled, users should examine it critically, given the uncertainties inherent in climate modelling.

View of Victoria Square with historic building featuring a clock tower in the background, tram tracks on a cobblestone street, and surrounding old buildings.
Colorful row of buildings with shops and cafes on the ground floor, with various people walking on the sidewalk and cars parked on the street.
A narrow city street with brick and stone buildings on either side, string lights hanging above, and a few pedestrians and bicycles.
Historic stone buildings on a street corner with a red door, a black car parked nearby, and street signs indicating St. Mary's Gate and St. Mary's Parade. A black street lamp stands in front of the buildings, and the sky is cloudy.
